This afternoon/early evening open mic, up in the north bay is reknown for celeb drop-ins and high profile preformances. The open mic itself is relaxed and well-attended and usually followed by a good evening performer. Sign up in person that afternoon or ring MC Austin deLone at 415-388-2820. Every 3rd monday, Jan White and the WCS folks take over, charging $4 per performer and promising prizes and possible industry attention to the best performers of the night.

The other WCS open mics are second thursdays in the city at Circadia (starbucks), third mondays in Cupertino at Brittania Arms, 3rd or 4th mondays in Berkeley's Freight & Salvage Coffee Shop and 3rd Fridays at Coffee Catz in Sebastopol.
