This open mic is every 3rd wednesday at Magnet in the Castro.

This is a queer-friendly event, but all folks, regardless of gender or orientation, are welcome. Regarding performace, MC Kirk sez,
A page of double spaced prose takes at least two minutes to read. Please don't show up with five pages unless they're teeny poems. Practice at home! Respect your audience by preparing and sharpening your piece. Please don't start with an unfocused folksinger rant about how the piece came to be. Just spit it out and get behind it and float it out over our heads. It's a warm and loving crowd.
