This open mic has been going for a number of years, but has shuffled through a few MCs. Currently called the Songwriters Evening by hostess Kimberly, the open mic is now on tuesdays and seems to be going strong. A bluegrass music (NO ROCK 'N ROLL OR RYTHM & BLUES ALLOWED!) joint the rest of the week, McGrath's is a boisterous, live-music-loving venue.
