2 blocks south of Downtown Berkeley BART, every wednesday night is called "Human Kareoke Night." Nicole, your friendly hostess puts on a hilarious MC'ing job that often skirts the fringes of good taste. Wednesdays have a good following and Nicole will happily back you up on guitar for any of the songs in her volimnous catalog of covers or let you take the mic solo to do your own thing.

Signup: 7 pm, walk-in
Length: 7:30pm until last call
M.C.: Nicole - (the human kareoke machine)
Terms: Usually just one song. Nicole will either accompany you or lend you a guitar.
Sound: Refined - many speakers make it easy to hear w/out being too loud.
