MONTEITH'S ORIGINAL ALE
Who knew New Zealand had so many good microbrews? Not me. Among the dozen or so I found, Monteith's Original Ale was one of the best, so good that it's among my top six beers ever. Caramely smoothness assists a nice roasty hop flavor along. Mmm mm. I wish I could drink this beer all the time (it makes a lovely pork stew as well).
Alas, it seems to be only available in New Zealand. Lucky Kiwis.
