BOONVILLE OATMEAL STOUT

What is it about this beer that has impressed itself upon me? It may be that I tried this beer first when my uncle handed me a bottle of it that he had bottled himself at the brewery. It may be that night when Jason and I were having a laugh sampling beers together and this one registered approval, despite the Belgian beers with which it was keeping company that evening. Delicious, deeply flavored and smooth. The Boonville line of beers doesn't have one that disappoints and is becoming more available in the San Francisco area. I've found that bars in the city will often have a tap for Bud, cider and Boont. Me, I'm for the Boont.
